Trip To Phoenix Arizona

Well last weekend we went to Phoenix, Arizona which
was really nice because of the 80 degree weather!
We also took a side trip to Fountain Hills, Arizona.
So here are the pictures....

It was also for sale to....

I thought this was a really cool cactus

it almost looks like someone carved it!

Fountain Hills is known for its huge fountain which was built in 1970 by Robert P. Mculloch. The fountain sprays water for about 15 minutes every hour between 9am and 9pm. It rises from a concrete water-lily sculpture in the center of a large man-made lake. The fountain, driven by three 600 horsepower turbine pumps, sprays water at a rate of 7000 gallons per minute though an 18-inch nozzle. With all three pumps and under ideal conditions, the fountain reaches 560 feet in height though in normal operation only two of the pumps are used, with a fountain height of around 300 feet. When built, it was the world's tallest fountain and held that record for over a decade.

Slide Show

The other day I was out taking pictures
and just happen to see the deer across the feild.
They were jumping some of the smaller fences
and I got some pretty good action shots. So here's
the slide show I made.
