Greenhouse

Well it is finally starting to warm

up here (besides the wind), and our fruit trees

just might have some fruit this year!

We've started building a green house

that will be about 4 ft underground.

These are some pictures of this Vermilion Flycatcher that comes back every year, and every time it comes back I've been trying to get some good pictures of it.

This will be the first year out plum tree has actually had any fruit!

Trip To Phoenix Arizona

Well last weekend we went to Phoenix, Arizona which
was really nice because of the 80 degree weather!
We also took a side trip to Fountain Hills, Arizona.
So here are the pictures....

Fountain Hills is known for its huge fountain which was built in 1970 by Robert P. Mculloch. The fountain sprays water for about 15 minutes every hour between 9am and 9pm. It rises from a concrete water-lily sculpture in the center of a large man-made lake. The fountain, driven by three 600 horsepower turbine pumps, sprays water at a rate of 7000 gallons per minute though an 18-inch nozzle. With all three pumps and under ideal conditions, the fountain reaches 560 feet in height though in normal operation only two of the pumps are used, with a fountain height of around 300 feet. When built, it was the world's tallest fountain and held that record for over a decade.

Happy Birthday!

Well I turned 15 yesterday, but I don't feel any older... yet. Gran & Pop got to come this year so I was pretty excited about that! Here are some pictures of the days event....
